Work Experience
February 2026: Work experience at The Beard Makers – I completed a week-long placement with The Beard Makers, creating and styling a range of bespoke hairpieces on both film‑grade and theatre‑grade lace, focusing on my knotting and styling skills.
June 2023 – September 2023: Sales Advisor at H&M – Customer facing role working on the shop floor. Roles included working on the till, supervising the changing rooms, restocking the clothes rails and processing deliveries. I was well respected for my work ethic and for my flexibility, including travelling to another store locally when they were short staffed.
Experience
AUB Grad film “Crocodile Tears” – Assistant Makeup Artist
I spent 5 days doing makeup and hair for one of the key actors as well as working with a team of makeup artists to create camera ready hair and makeup for the extras each day. This role required effective time management, teamwork and precision to ensure the actors looked the same on each shooting day and to make sure every extra was ready on time.
Witch Project – Makeup & Wig Design
I created a witch‑themed makeup look and custom wig for my first third‑year project. Incorporated fibre‑optic lighting into the wig by threading fibres through the foundation net and housing the light source in a concealed pocket at the back, demonstrating creativity, problem‑solving, and technical construction skills.
Fairy Project – Wig & Makeup Design
I created my first handmade wig and a coordinating fantasy‑themed makeup look for my final second‑year project. Used a blend of colours to achieve a whimsical, ethereal aesthetic. Organised and directed a photoshoot, including sourcing a suitable location to showcase the finished design.
AUB Production of I, Joan (Based on the story Joan of Arc) – Assistant Makeup Artist
I provided makeup and hairstyling for an actress in a fast‑paced theatre environment. I applied a natural makeup look and completed hair styling in the form of two French plaits with the ends pinned up. This role involved managing frequent quick changes across different stage areas, requiring strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability alongside the costume department.
